• All Patrol Vehicles Equipped w/ Computers and GPS Systems
• Upgraded Public Safety Network
•  Installed Fixed License Plate Readers throughout the City

Accountability

• Increased Overall Supervisory & Officer Accountability
• Upgraded All Rules, Regulations, Policy and Procedures Upgrade
• New Jersey State Association Chiefs of Police Accreditation achieved in October 2018

FIRE DEPARTMENT

Hiring

• Hired 12 new firefighters - all city residents

Community

• Successfully Implemented Various Community Programs to Help Adult Citizens
• Installed 530 Smoke Detectors to City Residents in Conjunction with the American Red Cross
• Worked with Plainfield Recreation Summer Program and NJ American Water to Paint all Fire Hydrants in the City

Accountability

• New Standard Operating Procedures were Created to Improve Performance and Proficiency
• New Software Purchased to Improve Personnel Accountability and Annual Data Tracking

Apparatus Upgrade

• Purchased Three State of the Art Fire apparatus
